Dental Checkups & Teeth Cleanings
Regardless of age, we recommend that every patient should receive at least one checkup and cleaning every 6 months. During these appointments, we’ll investigate your mouth for any decay or infection so we can treat it as soon as possible, taking care of small problems before they ever turn into bigger ones. Professional cleanings also allow our hygienists to remove harmful plaque and give your teeth a nice polish, stopping cavities and improving your smile at the same time.

Dental Sealants
A dental sealant is a clear, thin barrier we can place over the back teeth in order to keep them protected from plaque, bacteria, and food particles. These teeth are the most likely to develop cavities because of their location and grooved surfaces, both of which make them quite tricky to clean (particularly for small children). Sealants only take a few minutes to apply but can easily shield the teeth for up to a decade.
Nightguards for Bruxism
Modern life is certainly stressful, and for many, this causes them to unconsciously clench their jaw and grind their teeth while they sleep, both of which can lead to serious dental damage over time. If worn down teeth and morning headaches are normal for you, we can provide you with a custom-made nightguard to wear to bed. It is a small mouthpiece that will prevent your teeth from coming together during the night, saving them from any harm.
Mouthguards / Sportsguards
Wearing the proper safety equipment is important for any athlete no matter what their chosen sport is, but one thing that often goes unprotected is the teeth, which leads to all sorts of avoidable dental injuries. We can provide patients with custom-made mouthguards that are not only much more comfortable than anything you can buy at the store but provide better protection as well. Each one is specially-shaped to a patient’s unique dentition so when worn, they can keep their focus on the game and not worry about their teeth.
Oral Cancer Screenings
Whenever you come to see us for a regular checkup, we’ll be looking for more than just cavities. Our team is able to spot the earliest signs of oral cancer so we can help a patient get the care they need as soon as possible. Coming in for regular exams is important, but if you notice any persistent sores, growths, or oddly colored patches of tissue in your mouth, be sure to give us a call to schedule a screening right away.
Fluoride Treatments
When exposed to the teeth, fluoride not only helps strengthen the enamel, but it also repairs any weakened spots that could easily turn into a cavity. That’s why we recommend that all of our patients should use a fluoridated toothpaste, and we also provide targeted fluoride treatments during regular checkups. We simply apply a highly-concentrated solution to the teeth for a minute or so, and this goes a long way in stopping cavities before they even start.
Children’s Dentistry
Our staff just loves having children around the dental office, as many of us are parents ourselves! We know how to help children of all ages feel comfortable during their visits, and we can also provide the services they need to enjoy optimum oral health through every stage of development. Toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers alike can all get everything they need here at Angel Smile Dental Care, and we’ll make sure they have a great time while they do it.
Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal disease is an infection that can develop if too much bacterial plaque is allowed to accumulate around the gum line, and it’s actually the most common dental problem in the world. If we notice that a patient has red, swollen, or sensitive gums that bleed easily, we can use a specialized dental cleaning called scaling and root planing to take care of the problem right away. We can also prescribe antibiotics to ensure the infection doesn’t come back.
